The Nutrition and Health – Level 2 Award (RQF) Course is designed to give prospective students a good understanding of nutrition and healthy eating and will lead to a relevant qualification.
With rising levels of obesity in both adults and children, the Foresight study have estimated that by 2050 approximately 60% of men, 50% of women and 25% of children in the UK will be obese. These increasing obesity levels could cost the UK over £40 billion a year through increased care requirements and missed working hours.
This course will teach students the importance of healthy eating whilst considering the nutritional needs of individuals and will give advise about how you can plan a healthy diet.
On successful completion of this course, students will receive a Level 2 RQF Award Qualification with 12 Credits issued by NCFE.
You will receive access to the course materials through an online portal for a 12-month period. Students can use the portal for accessing their course materials, submitting assignments and to log tutor questions. A hard-copy book version of the course notes are also supplied.
Please Note: Due to the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19 hard-copy versions of this course are only being dispatched twice a week so there may be slight delays to the usual delivery times.
